A Passion for Helping People

I believe in developing lasting relationships with the people I treat, getting to know them as individuals, and becoming part of their lives as they become part of mine. Dentistry is so much more than just delivering oral healthcare; it involves learning about a person, and then finding treatment solutions that fit into their life.

While being a dentist means I am able to alleviate a person's pain, restore his or her oral health, and help that person achieve a Proud Smile, it also means forming friendships. I look forward to coming to work in the morning because I know the day will be filled with wonderful conversations and moments of insight.

I strive to remain on the leading edge of dental technology. Today we’re able to do so much for patients in a shorter time and with stronger results. And painless dentistry is now possible–calming the fears that some people have about seeing a dentist. I am thankful to be practicing in a time when I am able to deliver such care to my amazing patients.

EDUCATION AND COMMITMENT TO CONTINUed LEARNING

I am currently involved with two dental study clubs, Advanced Dental Concepts and Spectrum Dental Society, to stay up to date on the most recent advances in dentistry and provide the highest quality of care and treatment options to my patients. My continuing education interests are broad, including endodontics and aesthetic dentistry.

PERSONAL LIFE

I’m a native of Pickerington, OH, and attended Pickerington High School, where I was part of the last class before the school was split. I’m currently living in Merion Village with my wife, Megan. She is a pediatric intensive care physician at Nationwide Children's Hospital. We met at Ohio University and attended professional school together at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland. We share our lives with our son Quinn (3), and our daughter Emerson (8 months).

Away from the office, I enjoy cooking and fitness, both on my own and with my wife. I’ve been doing Crossfit for 7+ years and I thrive on pushing myself to get better in fitness in the same way I push myself in dentistry. Megan and I also love cooking together, trying new recipes, and making everything from scratch.

If it’s fall and a Saturday, I’ll be watching Buckeye football, of course!
